The design of the Bonheur Collection has its roots in the heritage inherited by the fashion revolution of the 1920s, a symbol of elegance and freedom. While maintaining its feminine shape, its precious resin with blue and white stripes, sharp and simple, combined with platinum-coated finishes, evoke women freed from corsets, looking for elegant, yet functional and free clothes. The marinière ("sailor") style of the upper was a popular fashion trend, a stylish design for a seaside holiday, but one that also freed the female form from the constraints imposed by the fashions of the day. The 20th century and the beginning of the 2000s saw the democratization of the marinière, in the way in which it was adopted by intellectuals and artists in an encounter between elegance and functionality.
